AlertyAI is designed to be frictionless. Here’s how you can start managing your tasks efficiently directly from your Android device.

1. Installation & Login

After installing the AlertyAI Android App, open it and you will be greeted with a secure, one-tap Google Sign-In powered by Android’s native Credential Manager.

2. Creating Tasks Your Way

AlertyAI offers multiple intelligent ways to create tasks, eliminating manual data entry:

🎙 Voice-to-Task

Tap the microphone icon on the home screen and speak naturally. For example, say: “Remind me to call John tomorrow at 3 PM about the marketing report.” The AI will transcribe your voice and automatically extract the title, date, and time.

📸 Image OCR & Parsing

Have a flyer, a meeting agenda, or a whiteboard with action items? Snap a photo or upload a screenshot. AlertyAI uses advanced OCR to read the text and actionable tasks are extracted instantly by our intelligent backend.

💬 Smart Chat

Don’t want to use voice? Just chat with the built-in AI assistant. Type, “Schedule a team meeting on Friday at 5 PM,” and the AI will craft the task for you, properly categorized and scheduled.

⌨️ Manual Entry

You can always manually create tasks. Enjoy native Android date and time pickers to handle detailed scheduling.

3. Setting Smart Alarms

Never miss a deadline. When a task has a specific time, you can configure smart alarms:
  • At time of event
  • 10 minutes before
  • 30 minutes before
  • 1 hour before

4. Managing Your Day

The dashboard gives you a clear overview of your day. You can:
  • Mark tasks as complete with a satisfying swipe or tap.
  • Break large goals into smaller Subtasks and track their progress.
  • Filter tasks by date or category natively within the app.
